Formed by teenagers in 2018, Beyond Extinction have spent the last several years clawing their way toward the top of the UK metal scene, fusing metalcore, deathcore, and death metal into something genuinely crushing. They’ve headlined Winterfest, played Bloodstock, and toured relentlessly across England — freezing vans and all. Their long-awaited debut album Where They Gather isn’t just a record; it’s a reckoning, written through loss and forged in bedrooms and rehearsal spaces before being unleashed live. On stage is where this band is most alive — expect beatdowns, breakdowns, and a room that doesn’t stop moving.

Formed in the industrial north in 1987, Salem Trials recorded prolifically and played out rarely before splitting in 1991. They reformed in 2018 and picked up exactly where they left off — recording lots, playing little, and sounding like nobody told them what decade it is. Now on Metal Postcard Records, their latest album Heavenly Bodies Under the Ground has been called some of the best work of their career: scratchy, nostalgic, and soaked in the atmosphere of a Britain that smells faintly of rain and red telephone boxes. This is a rare chance to see a genuine cult act play live.
